Welcome Rob, Our New Head Golf Professional

welcome Rob to Meadows Golf Course

Special Announcement to our Golf Course Members and Friends

Dear Members and Friends:

It appears that spring will be here to stay shortly. I am please to announce that we have hired our new General Manager and Head Golf Professional, Rob Muranyi. If his name sounds familiar, it is! Rob was previously the Head Golf Professional at Glenway and Monona for the City of Madison. Most recently he has been functioning as the Golf Services Manager for Golf Galaxy/Dick’s Sporting Goods on the west side of Madison.

With Rob’s extensive experience in all things golf, we are feeling really good about the season. Rob will be on premise beginning March 20th, please feel free to drop in and say hello.

Also, there have been a few concerns expressed regarding junior golf availability. We are a little behind with providing all of the paperwork for sign up, but it will be a priority item as Rob joins us, and please rest assured, we will have a great program this year and no junior will be left behind, all will be welcome and no one will be turned away. Rob is the recipient of the Wisconsin PGA Junior Leader Award, recognizing his skill and commitment to developing juniors, and his past programs have produced several collegiate players. Please give Rob time to review what has been done in the past, identify where we can improve. There will be an updated application and personalized program, designed by Rob. If you have already signed up a junior, that’s great and we will be in touch.

We will work to over communicate during the next few weeks to try and keep everyone abreast of timing for opening, social events, league sign up, and all the normal spring related items, so keep watching your email!

Thank you for your business and support of The Meadows Golf Course.
